Who is Sir Peter Blake ?
Sir Peter Blake was born in 1948, he was the second of four children.He grew up in auckland and his first sail was on the Waitemata harbour, he was sailing at a very young age because his father had taught him. From a very young age he was a very good leader, his brother Tony who was younger than him loved sailing too and Peter always took the lead when they went on adventures. He later became a yachtsman for New Zealand, who won many yachting races and set the fastest time to travel around the world on catamaran Enza. He was knighted in 1995.
